its the first poem i have written for a long time. what do you think?
Yeah well,
You didn’t see the fire
That rose up in her eyes
I’m inspired
To become one that cannot be bought
With money
Money is a comforting insult
Economy is an upper class in joke
Punch line poor
Are not dumb any more
Educated guess can level the score
But for now there are leaders
And some turn into deceivers
That’s just human nature
So the system is out dated
Suitably ill-fated
Is technology becoming a saviour?
Is communication changing behaviour?
Altering desires
Just like a fire
That burns behind her eyes
I’m inspired
