The Lil'est President: A Story for Minors (also known as children)
The Lil'est President: A Story for Minors
Pg 1: Billy was very bored. It was a rainy Saturday, and Billy couldn't go outside to play. And Billy didn't have TV, the Internet, or video games.
Pg 2: Suddenly, the phone rang! Billy picked it up. "Hello," a man's voice said, "I am the President of the United States, and I am very sick today."
Pg 3: "Can you fill in for me?" the President asked, "Also, the Vice President broke his latest heart and needs to buy a new one."
Pg 4: "Ok", Billy said. So Billy put on his very best shirt and put his some crayons and paper in a little briefcase. Then, it was off to Washington, D.C.
Pg 5: The President worked in a big oval office with a flag. Billy sat in the big chair and spun around for awhile. Then, he got bored, and colored.
Pg 6: One of the White House interns came and brought him some juice and cookies.
Pg 7: Around noon, Billy had to go to a press conference. He read the speech that the nice man with the blue tie handed to him.
Pg 8: Some of the words in the speech were very big words, but Billy did his best to sound them out.
Pg 9: At 3 o'clock, the President came back! "Good work, Billy," he said, "it turns out I had eaten a bad hot dog, and the doctors gave me some special medicine."
Pg 10: Billy went home. And he got a free baseball cap!
What it lacks in originality, it piles on in existential angst. I didn't like it.
Did I mention all the characters are chimpanzees?
Well, they are.
