Survivor Book cover
Well, i had an english project where we had to design a whole "marketing" campaign type thing for a book of our choice. I chose to do Survivor, and in my project, I redid the cover. I was never a fan of the grey cover, and the airplane cover can turn off some people who may think the book focuses only on planes. My cover: (link)

I could easily add a quote to the cover, but because my teacher didn't want an outside quote for the project, i just left it as is. Should i explain why I chose this route? So what are your opinions on my cover? Thanks for looking.

Yeah, I don't really get the pill thing. Steroids would be injected more commonly. My idea (never executed) was to make a Bible cover, leather texture with gold foil print saying 'SURVIVOR' instead of 'HOLY BIBLE' and 'Chuck Palahniuk' instead of 'NEW ENGLISH STANDARD WHATEVER.'
And instead of a cross, a small gold airplane.

Surely. I have trouble explaining ideas rather than expressing them, but i will give it a shot. If you look closely, the pills are M&ms, this represents how everything is not what you think it is. It also represents the whole idea of how Tender did not know what he was taking. Everything was just "a fix, for another fix, for another fix, until you forget the orignal problem". Kind of goes along with the placebo effect as well. Thinking about it more, it also shows how celebrities take drugs as if they were candy. *meh*. If you remember, the Agent copyrighted all of the names for the drugs, and filled the cases with sugar coated chocolates, so it also is a hommage to that. Although it was more towards a smaller aspect of the book, I felt that this book falls victim to the cover only being based around the plane. Which is good, but I just wanted something different.
Oddly enough, I was very close to doing the Bible idea, but i thought it would be too "bland" for the project, and I wouldn't think the teacher would get where I was coming from. But the bible idea is a very good idea.
I did not recieve a grade on the project yet, I have to "pitch" my idea tommorow. So thanks for asking me the questions, it helped me practice, and collect my thoughts.

I put Survivor on a list we had to make in english as well. I love the "secret" ending, and I always try to read and catch more hints towards it.
