Opportunity for writers

Do submissions have to be in the horror genre or are short stories with a dark slant acceptable?

No specific genre, just a dark theme or dark element to the story.

By the guidelines please, I have my e-mail set to sort out the subs from comments or questions. Plus I can keep them in the order in which I receive them, and respond accordingly.

Not sure how many of you out there enjoy the literary musings of H.P Lovecraft, but I am now taking submissions of original Lovecraftian fiction, I'd like to run quite a few of them. I'll begin the series next weekend Nov 14th with "The Old Ones" an original mythos tale previously unpublished by Jeremy Clymer. I'll review it and either accept it or not. Either way I'll give you a personal response, usually within two weeks. If I accept it will then be read and recorded for the podcast by either myself or one of my voice actors. Submission Guidelines are here -

Have a listen to a couple I think you'll be impressed with the quality. I'm pretty picky about who reads for me. Also If you have the ability and access to record the reading yourself I do allow you to if you can make a high quality MP3. In fact this weeks episode was read by the author.
