I had a lot of fun creating this. This is my first attempt at creating something from scratch, except the bird, on photoshop.

Not at all! I'm honored!

I really enjoyed that. I enjoyed the original feel you gave familiar elements. Do you have any design training, anything else to show off?

I only have one other completed project that I did in Illustrator. It was for a class. We had to create a company and make a logo for it. I've only taken Introduction to Digital Art & Design. I'm still currently in that course. So far, I'm loving it. I'll post that logo a little later and let ya know when I do
The only other things I've done have been in photoshop...messing with eye color, black and white while leaving a little color, that sort of thing. Just testing the waters for right now. I'm glad you like it!

I'll keep an eye open for it when you post that.
I live in lightroom, photoshop, and illustrator these days. I loved some of the introductory design classes I had to take, the way they forced me to think around problems. My absolute favorite was an assignment where we were allowed to use only letters and different fonts to convey different ideas, emotions, and items. It was really fun to play with arrangements and setups.
Feel free to PM me if you've ever got a photoshop problem you can't solve... I've stockpiled all sorts of workarounds and tricks over the past years.
Great, thanks! I'm sure I'll be making use of your tricks, especially since I'm just starting out.
That does sound like a fun project. I've always loved words in imagery. Gives it more meaning and depth.
