Fight Club Office Scene (Stop Motion Animation)
Hey guys, my names Shaun and I am new to this forum
. For a college project I was asked to create a stop motion animation based on a movie of my choice, so I decided to use a scene from my absolute favourite movie/book Fight Club. I decided to film the scene in which the Narrator (Edward Norton) confronts his manager and attempts to blackmail him, Unfortunately I only had 6 days to create this from scratch and only 3 days were used in creating the animation, characters and set, because of this the animation is very jumpy and rushed. A lot of the frames I used had to be recreated on Photoshop and reused so there may be parts that are looped. This is my first time doing stop motion and I hope you guys enjoy the video.
Any feedback good or bad would be appreciated.
Did they only give you 6 days to do it or did you just blow off the project till there were only 6 days left?
I agree about polishing it up. Throw another couple weeks of work on it when you get the chance and I bet it's something you can really be proud of!
I've always wanted to try doing stop-motion work. Good first-effort, especially if that is only 6 days worth of work.
yeah we had 6 days to do the entire thing since we had a deadline and 3 half of those days were used for gathering research and character designs, originally it was 12 days but because of bad weather got shortened to 6, but I think when I get the chance I am going to make the animation a lot more smooth, thanks for the feedback guys!
Love it! lol
Amazing first effort.

Not too shabby for your first time with stop motion. If you have more free time you should remake it, take a few weeks!
As your attorney, my advise to you is to start drinking heavily(er).-Tuffy
