EDIT: The left pupil isn't entirely rounded. I have to draw a lot of faces for my art classes, so this isn't me just being a douchebag.

It was very pretentious. Unless he's an art history teacher/professor or a museum curator, I don't think it's going to be a better critique than what we can muster up.

I don't think he was saying anything bad by "true critique". More like,
"hey I've got some positives and negatives, but I'd rather not shit all over your drawing on the public forum, so PM me if you're interested in my thoughts".
