I just signed up and thought I would share a couple poems I wrote.

Breathless

Some healthy happy hardened honor,
To begin this granted glorification;
But to hell with glory,
Because cartoons hold no morals,
And no flightful fit of fury
Will pass these lips,
I'm just outspoken with every word I say;
But I don't want to be a kid anymore,
I just want to grow old and die
With my memory sown into society,
With my head held high
And rope having its way with my neck;
Keeping me humble,
Keeping eyes fixed,
And making clocks jealous;
Ticking and tocking my way to breathless

Unfortunately I don't have a name for the second poem.

This dignity,
Build upon such soft pillars,
To house our pride,
And tonight
These glasses will be raised,
And we'll turn this water into wine,
Because these oceans are endless,
And every last drop,
Will be gone in due time,
For our minds are dry,
And our eyes are starving,
For these pillars to fall

That second one is great. It flows really well and I like that in contrast to the "For our minds are dry,
And our eyes are starving,
For these pillars to fall."

Reminds me of T.S. Eliot's "The Wasteland" Check out the water drop song in the "What the Thunder Said" section. Probably my most favorite poem ever.
