What music do chuck's fans listen to?
I listen to Bright Eyes, Mum, Azure Ray, some Kill Hannah, some trance/house. For the most part, of course. My music list is very wide ranged, but the above, I committ to.
Oh, and classical.
as far as classical goes, I am a very large Paganini fan
you should try the string quartet tributes to.....they do just about every band out there from weezer to 311

great Douglas Coupland novel, not his best - but very good nonetheless.
lately I've been listening to :
germs, melvins, Rocket from the Tombs, Bad Brains, T'e, Melt Banana & 65daysofstatic, but that's really the past few days.
oh yeah - there's definitlely nothing wrong w/ Bad Religion.
it's a cover of the Smith's song version, not the book on tape version though
yeah, figured as much - I was sort of just cross-referencing.
but, have you read Douglas Coupland ?
LOVED Miss Wyoming
i've read miss wyoming and hey nostradamus
found them both to be mediocre
yeah? the only one I that I felt reeked of mediocrity was JPod, a real disappointment.
I love oldies rock. Queen is fabulous. I'm also strangely drawn to Prince. More modern, I listen to Muse and Radiohead regularly. When I'm energetic, it's MSI. When I'm blue I love Damien Rice.
I may have already posted in this thread..
I get down mostly to death metal bands like death, malevolent creation, cannibal corpse, and cephalic carnage [ on second though... who knows wtf cephalic carnage is..]. On the brighter side of the music spectrum I get down to nin, rage, cky, msi, and other shit like that.

Gwar is great.
But what do I listen to? It's a shorter list to tell you what I don't listen to:
Rap.
Contemporary Xtian.
Country (excepting old timers like Patsy Cline, Merle Haggard, Hank Sr.)
Van Hagar
When we call soccer 'football' the terrorists have won.
Hey, I kinda liked JPod! I listen to Linkin Park, Muse, QOTSA, and still have a hankerin' to hear some old Queen and Aerosmith every now and then...and, of course, there's always some Starflyer 59 in the mix...
I listen to a lot of weird things. From Richard Wagner and Mozart to Madonna and Christina Aguilera. Then you can make a turn on Nightwish, Within Temptation and Children of Bodom, Norther, Metallica, Pantera and another turn in Mark Lanegan and Morphine. Then another turn in Nine Inch Nails and Queens of the Stone Age and stop in Tyler Bates and Hans Zimmer.
Anyway, my last fm shows a little bit of my weird music taste: http://www.last.fm/user/Ann_Becker
I love House, Trance and a little bit of Techno along ith a lot of popular bands.
kinda wide range: sick of it all, dropkick murphys(older stuff), flogging molly, tool, converge, radiohead, moby, black flag, fugazi, shelter, the decemberists, op ivy, against all authority, american nightmare/give up the ghost, the hope conspiracy, smashing pumpkins, red hot chili peppers, incubus, the strokes, ignite, explosions in the sky, born against, broken social scene, youth of today, better than a thousand, DK, dead milkmen, dag nasty, black eye.....i could go on and on, but thats been the most recent
What the fuck is wrong with Bad Religion ?
Bad Religion is awesome!! some of their 'newer' stuff kinda sucked though
alternative rock (White Stripes and The Mars Volta) and The Smashing Pumpkins, The Doors, Jeff Buckley, Nirvana, The Beatles
98% Pink Foyd, 1% Mariachi music, 1% old rap.
I just got into Floyd recently though, been reading Chuck for while.
"They sold you hippies grunge, hip hop, now liberty activism."
Bad Religion is awesome!! some of their 'newer' stuff kinda sucked though
that's absolutely true... touch was lost
kinda wide range: sick of it all, dropkick murphys(older stuff), flogging molly, tool, converge, radiohead, moby, black flag, fugazi, shelter, the decemberists...
I am completely infatuated with the Decemberists. I'm actually going to see them this July at the Summerstage.
The other bands I like are on my last.fm (http://www.last.fm/user/rentasketch/), but just to name a few: Sufjan Stevens, the New Pornographers, Beirut, of Montreal, Land of Talk, Radiohead, Talkdemonic, Sherwood (they are my guilty pleasure), and more.
