You need to remember what you wrote to him. I would suggest that he is commenting on what you wrote.. Something that was of interest or importance to you. He's trying to redirect you. Maybe.

As I read it more carefully, I think I had mistaken a "a" for an "d." So, it would actually read, "You are not your car." I know a while back I was looking at Corvettes and started a thread about it, so maybe he checks to blogs and thought it was have been a bad purchase. Wow, maybe he's looking out for me!! The bookstore said he only signs names so it was quite nice of him to share some wisdom with me....lol.
