Has chuck signed your books?
I never met the guy but a few weeks ago i went into my local Borders to get a book and i was looking through chucks books and there was a sticker on it that said, autographed copy. He signed every book that was his there.I have most of them. Trying to get the rest. The owner was telling me that he comes in every now and then and just signs all of his books then leaves. Thought it was pretty cool.
Hey, TF
Im sure this will get moved to Author forum soon, but anyway, no, hes not signed any of my books. Do have a couple signed copies I bought at the Tacoma Mall a few years back, but they were purchased with signature. That man's hand must ache occasionally.
As for you ...
when are you gonna share some of what you've written with the rest of us ?
I remember glancing at your profile a few months back. Says you enjoy writing. Well, many of us do as well. And many of us enjoy reading too.
Not to bother. But think about it. Please

he did this (the pre-signing thing) at the Denver reading this year.
i picked up a pre-signed copy of Survivor and then got my old tattered Fight Club signed by him in person at the signing.
I have a signed copy of Diary and one of Guts.
Also I read this thread title like "Has Chuck signed your boobs?" Which is FAR more intriguing, I think.
There is hope, but not for us.
Yes he's signed all of my books. What of it?
I got my lulliby and diary signed at the printer row book fair, there was a huge line at first, like 2 1/2 blocks, so I went and got pizza and then the line was only half a block

chuck did the pre-sign deal at the reading in portland too. but i didnt get any i brought my own copies to have signed (besides i wanted to shake hands with chuck) i assume that the pre-signed copies of everything that didnt sell went back to powell's and were sold there. however i would have removed the stickers denoting the interior signatures, and let people be shocked.

Hahahahaha
If I ever get take the chance to go to one of his signings, I'd beg him to sign my first edition HC of the Handbook. I really would. It was cause of him that I'd even heard of it.
If I went to a Clev signing, Id beg Clev to sign my Judas first edition. Same reason.
If I went to a Baer, itd probably be a Chandler, The Big Sleep (no, I dont have that first edition).
If I went to a signing that all three were at, Id have to carry many many books around.

Actually that's cool. I hope he put the dates next to his name. Then you can see it in chronological order when your eighty. You'll stare at the book and say, "Who's chuck?"
I treated myself to a Christmas present. I ordered a sighed book from Helen's bookstore. I also said I was in the Chuck workshop, and was the pest that kept hitting him with questions in the DIARY class. He responded to the majority of my posts, so it would be cool if he remembers me, and throws in a comment about the class when he signs the book I ordered.
Cheers.
I've never met him. Even if I did, I still would not get him to sign my breasts. Unless, of course, he wanted to..
if it weren’t so uncommon I’d have him sign my testicles.... if possible.
have you ever tried writing on these things? Christ..

How neat was that! I got one in response to the November window too and I can't help but smile for 10 minutes after I look at it each time. Do you know if he accepts thank you cards outside the writing window? I really want to say thank you because he sent it at just the right time (I was getting a bit caught up with people eluding to the idea that writing is a "nice hobby, but how are you going to pay rent?").
I ordered all his books from St. Helen's, I had said that "Chuck can write anything into my books!" he signed the books to me with a little phrase/note in each, along with Contortionist's Handbook.. It was really cool!! I also have two 1st HB copies of Diary signed, trying to collect other first prints... I'm planning a road trip for whenever his next reading tour is! I would definitely like to meet Chuck sometime too.

I've got a survivor signed from a B&N.
Also, dzudzu got me a Fight Club hardcover 1st ed for my birthday, and on his last tour, CP signed it "Happy Birthday, Tony." I was elated.
