So I was going through old magazines salvaging interesting titbits for research etc, and came across this. It's from the British magazine 'Bizarre', dated August 2006. Says how the retreat was going to be in place the following year to start taking people. Out of curiosity, anyone know what the update was on this? As this was three years ago now.

I dont know why, but that just didnt sound like him responding...call me crazy.

That retreat sounds awesome...if this were an Oral Biography of Chuck, then the result of the writers retreat in Portland would be Haunted....paradox due to time travel

If I'm hacking myself to bits, I best be getting top-dollar story rights first.

But hasn't he moved back to Washington, Burbank in last few years? Is the new Premium Workshop anything to do with generating interest for the Retreat after the anthology's released...?

if memory serves, he's been talking about this since forever. Even had the spot picked out where he was going to have it. but things never went through. I'd imagine that's, at least in part, where he got the idea for Haunted.
Also, I imagine that the stuff he's been doing here at the workshops, with the essays for 3 years and now the personal review of work, is a sort of compromise to accomplish the same thing.
Although, you never know, he might still do it someday down the road.
