Chuck's Time Interview
http://www.time.com/time/arts/article/0,8599,1897504,00.html
Opening line: "Chuck Palahniuk isn't a rock star, but he could be."
Can't agree more
He's gained a very rock star persona.
The thing about zee Germans cracked me up!
oh, man. that germany thing must have killed him. man, that sucks. poor guy.
oh, and dude; the fuck. the cult was mentioned directly in time magazine !
-that's just crazy to me. i now have to go and lie down

I know, Time magazine! I'm proud that the "tour" shirts are mentioned because those were my idea. I had the idea that his book tours should be celebrated like a band tour and I even said to Dennis, "Chuck is a rock star, we need tour shirts!".
Brad Choma designs them and always makes them look so good. I don't know why I didn't think of it before, but this time I ordered shirts for his three kids so they can wear their Dad's work! He's such a good sport, he's gonna let his own little pygmies wear shirts with a terrorist swinging a severed arm!
hahahaha..

Was a lot more funny when he told that story at the reading. Really went into detail....oh man gassing germans
douche
Awesome little interview, awesome that he got into Time magazine, they're like the magazine. They may have oversensationalized the cult a bit though, I wouldn't say we're all raging Palahniuk-head by any means.
"They sold you hippies grunge, hip hop, now liberty activism."
no, of course not. i agree. we are so overrated.. but words in time is impressive outright-

Great interview, great reading in DC, we're not true "cult-ists"! We just like letting Chuck screw up and scramble our brains so that we see things differently, like through a glass darkly....
This is how I felt when we were about to meet him:
"The geek in me was jumping around like a dumbass at a Star Trek convention and Leonard Nimoy showed up."
My name is Carla, and I love Chuck!
~we have no god. if he is there, he is laughing at us.

oh, nice find!
He says: They send me six or eight stories each month and I go through them and I offer my feedback.
But we really only send five. I wonder if that means we can send more? Hmm
