2010 novel from Chuck?
with Pygmy coming out in 3 weeks, does anyone know if Chuck will have a novel out in 2010?
any news on the possible Rant trilogy?
i thought rant was awesome and i would love some more of them. Pygmy looks like a fun read too, i hope it has as good a plot as Rant though!

if i remember correctly chuck is under contract to do a book every year with his publisher.. i we can prob expect a new book around may of 2010

Anything would be better than last years' Snuff.
he'll probably have three books come out next year.
yea i dont think 3 books by chuck will be out next year.. idk where you got that info from...but i hope pygmy is good and i happen to love snuff...

I'm work for his publisher.
pygmy's good. real good. a tough, tough read, though..
and there's yet no word as to his next book. he is going to get an anthology collection published next year, but that's with a different publisher entirely.
he's general deathly silent about his books-in-progress until he has a first draft.. so here's to knowing more.

Is Rant really a trilogy?
no one yet knows.

dude, you've read pygmy?
why is it a tough read? without spoilers
nothing is as perfect as you can imagine it.
this has been gone over in many reviews posted to this site, so i dont feel that it would spoil anything:
why is it a tough read? without spoilers
because it is entirely told through broken english. but after a few chapters it starts to read pretty straight forward. you just gotta get used to pygmy's narration.

I think It would be hard to get a contract stating how many books you have to write within a certain time span. Some of the best books and poetry took years to write. Plus these days you have to tour and do book signings and give speeches at universities; it just seems sometimes it may force you to write below your standards to meet a time quota, instead of being able to take your time and let it all flow.

I think this is typically done with every author who signs a multi-book deal.

These types of things are usually announced during the tour.
