Writer's Workshop Questions

After a good, long run, we have decided to close our forums in an effort to refocus attention to other sections of the site. Fortunately for you all, we're living in a time where discussion of a favorite topic now has a lot of homes. So we encourage you all to bring your ravenous love for discussion to Chuck's official Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram. And, as always, you can still post comments on all News updates. Thank you for your loyalty and passion over the years. These changes will happen June 1.

So, I've been lazy/injured the last few months and haven't gotten on the ball about submitting my novel and such. Being a perfectionist, I wanted to do some more editing, and getting tendonitis, I had to slow down on that for a long while.

Anyway, I want to join up in the Writer's Workshop and get more serious about the craft, but I'm not sure about the timing.

If I join now, will I be getting sort of gypped, meaning, do things wind down at the end of the year and then ramp up again in January? I'm not a cheapo or anything, but I don't want to be all gung ho this month and next if no one will even be around.

Make sense?

Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

P.S. Jase, and all you WC09 folks, if you're reading this, I'm definitely not happy about flaking this year. My arm was just a nuisance and I sort of just realized I never really covered that with you guys.
