Usher in a new year.

After a good, long run, we have decided to close our forums in an effort to refocus attention to other sections of the site. Fortunately for you all, we're living in a time where discussion of a favorite topic now has a lot of homes. So we encourage you all to bring your ravenous love for discussion to Chuck's official Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram. And, as always, you can still post comments on all News updates. Thank you for your loyalty and passion over the years. These changes will happen June 1.

A new year is at our door step, and with it comes new opportunities, new experiences, and new wisdom. Although, it would be optimal for our motivation to remain strong throughout the year, new years have become a time when we think about what we want and need from the coming year. My list is as follows:

  • Buy some decent recording equipment and tap into my musical outlets once again.
  • Work on learning from my interactions, good and bad.
  • Be home more often, even if it's a couple weeks per year.
  • Read more. Most of my reading this past year has been in the form of critiquing. I've read some great short stories, but I'd like to spend more time enjoying stories without the distraction of picking it apart.

Happy holidays!
