Steve Erickson

After a good, long run, we have decided to close our forums in an effort to refocus attention to other sections of the site. Fortunately for you all, we're living in a time where discussion of a favorite topic now has a lot of homes. So we encourage you all to bring your ravenous love for discussion to Chuck's official Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram. And, as always, you can still post comments on all News updates. Thank you for your loyalty and passion over the years. These changes will happen June 1.

Today on WCB's site, Mr. Clevenger graced the Velvet with a rare appearance and some encouraging words! Made the morning a little easier to bear.

In Craig's post he mentioned an author named Steve Erickson. I've never heard of this guy, but apparently he's quite well known in certain cirlces.

A few mouse clicks on Amazon and I'm now the proud owner of two Erickson books that were under $2 each...BRAND NEW! I chose two just from Craig's suggestion.

Has anyone read Erickson's works? I picked up Rubicon Beach and The Tour of the Black Clocks. They should be here in a few days! The Amazon reviews were all great, but I'd love to get a Cultist opinion if there happen to be any out there....

Sometimes,
Gary
