Proposition 8

After a good, long run, we have decided to close our forums in an effort to refocus attention to other sections of the site. Fortunately for you all, we're living in a time where discussion of a favorite topic now has a lot of homes. So we encourage you all to bring your ravenous love for discussion to Chuck's official Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram. And, as always, you can still post comments on all News updates. Thank you for your loyalty and passion over the years. These changes will happen June 1.

What do you guys think of proposition 8 being recently overturned? What do you think is in store for the GLBT community?

I sort of see a whole lot of bible thumping by conservatives in hopes of getting Obama to appeal it.

It has been said that Obama was opposed to proposition 8 but his personal feelings are that gay marriage is not his cup of tea. He said he's only taking it on from a civil rights standpoint.

I really hope some of you guys chime in because this is a serious issue and frankly I'm not that political, but this is something I truly believe in.
