picking my next book(s)

After a good, long run, we have decided to close our forums in an effort to refocus attention to other sections of the site. Fortunately for you all, we're living in a time where discussion of a favorite topic now has a lot of homes. So we encourage you all to bring your ravenous love for discussion to Chuck's official Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram. And, as always, you can still post comments on all News updates. Thank you for your loyalty and passion over the years. These changes will happen June 1.

so i have about forty books on my amazon wishlist. i was wondering what people know about some of these books/authors.

1. serpent box: a novel by vincent louis carrella. probably going to pick it up because craig clevenger recommended it today on his website.

2. the white hotel by d m thomas. probably going to pick it up as well because stephen graham jones mentions it a lot.

3. the killer inside me by jim thompson

4. the silent cry by kenzaburo oe

5. click by kristopher young

6. the atrocity exhibition by j g ballard

7. battle royale by koushun takami

8. apathy and other small victories by paul neilan

9. a life without consequence by stephen eliot

if you guys know anything about these books/authors itd probably be useful. also, if you guys have any books in mind let me know. im always looking for some thing. oh, and i was thinking about philip k dick but dont know where to start. anybody an expert?
