Other Cult Books?

After a good, long run, we have decided to close our forums in an effort to refocus attention to other sections of the site. Fortunately for you all, we're living in a time where discussion of a favorite topic now has a lot of homes. So we encourage you all to bring your ravenous love for discussion to Chuck's official Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram. And, as always, you can still post comments on all News updates. Thank you for your loyalty and passion over the years. These changes will happen June 1.

Spend a little while on this thread and you'll read a thousand interpetations about Fight Club. Fight Club the movie, Fight Club the book, Fight Club the video game, Fight Club the Tee shirt, Fight Club the bar of soap thats being sold for too much money on E-bay, Fight Club the etc etc etc...

In the forward to the new release of Fight Club, Chuck talks about what a phenomenon it has become. Phrases like "First rule of..." and "I am Jack's..." abound American society. People changed their names to Tyler Durden. Fred Durst is a fan.

I want to know if there's any other novels that people cling to like Fight Club. Have people changed their names to Raoul Duke? Did people ever bring words like "yarbos", "viddy", and "the old in-out" in standard practice?
