Narration question

After a good, long run, we have decided to close our forums in an effort to refocus attention to other sections of the site. Fortunately for you all, we're living in a time where discussion of a favorite topic now has a lot of homes. So we encourage you all to bring your ravenous love for discussion to Chuck's official Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram. And, as always, you can still post comments on all News updates. Thank you for your loyalty and passion over the years. These changes will happen June 1.

Let me preface by apologizing if this is not the correct forum to place this thread...

I am putting together ideas for a piece of writing I want to do that involves duel serial killers meeting in a twist of fate. One male one female. I want to tell the stories seperately until they eventually cross paths...One of them is a pregnant woman and I want to use the unborn child as a narrator...My only issue with this is I do not know how, it will "believable" ( I don't think that is the word I am looking for) it would be. I mean would it work to have an unborn child narrating things that are not in its environment. for instance, flashbacks before the child's conception, and scenes that the child is not present in..does this work and if not are there any suggestions on how I could make this work. Thanks so much!
