My week

After a good, long run, we have decided to close our forums in an effort to refocus attention to other sections of the site. Fortunately for you all, we're living in a time where discussion of a favorite topic now has a lot of homes. So we encourage you all to bring your ravenous love for discussion to Chuck's official Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram. And, as always, you can still post comments on all News updates. Thank you for your loyalty and passion over the years. These changes will happen June 1.

While I'm not sure if anybody really cares, I'm going to tell you all about how awesome my last week has been. Last Tuesday I took off for SoCal to visit a friend in Clairmont. Spent a day at Magic Mountain, home of X, the worlds most amazing roller coaster; spent the next night getting my party on; and the next day at Coachella, a huge 2-day music festival I caught half of. Radiohead was rumored to play there, but were a no-show unless they played under some obscure name in the smallest tent that I never heard of. I got to see at least part of South, The Mooney Suzuki, Idlewild, Ben Kweller, Gomez, The Rapture, Badly Drawn Boy, Kinky, Ladytron, N*E*R*D, The Hives, Groove Armada, Blur, Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals, and The Beastie Boys. Absolutely incredible. I have to say that Ben Harper was the highlight of my day, but most of the other guys were pretty good too. Not too shabby, especially considering that they were $90 tickets we got for about $15. It's all about who you know. Anyway, for those of you who were curious, there you go.
My attempt to salvage this into a real thread, anybody ever been to any killer music festivals? Who headlined? What was the highlight of your experience?
