In What Ways Are You Being Censored?

Hey there Cult, Jay here.

Lately I've been feeling awfully down when it comes to attempting to voice my opinion in the digital world, as for months now in various mediums, from Reddit to Twitter, with no explanation and no response, my presence has been entirely disappeared. I do not use vulgar language, and I genuinely try rather hard to share thoughtful, unique and positive contributions.

I am wondering now if there is anybody else reading this that has ever experienced this personally, and if-so, where? What did you do about it? Just as you probably aren't, I too am not super intrigued by the maudlin energy of baseless conspiracies, but this is beginning to frighten me genuinely.

The latest is the website, CokeMachineGlow-- A music blog and critique website. I have been reading them and sharing their work extensively for over six years! I even had a song of mine reviewed by them, once:

(yes, I am intuition orphan) (I was even weirder then)

CokeMachineGlow really doesn't seem to appreciate what I have to say about Kanye West; I attempt to see through his ego and am somewhat of an apologist for him when I see him being criticized. I understand if somebody or everybody disagrees with me, but I find the act of silencing a voice to be a very immodest and telling, negative and dismissive energy. The latest article and subsequent posts in question can be found here, for anybody interested in my wacky drama (i understand if you are not whatsoever!):

I do wish I had what I had posted originally here, but they have removed what I typed, before I had an opportunity to save it. I didn't think I would have to.

I have saved the last two posts, though, before they were removed.

Is there not enough negative energy in the modern world today? Should we really be muting voices-- ESPECIALLY the ones we disagree with?

That cannot possibly be the answer. I totally understand if whomever is responsible for deleting my comments disagrees with what I have to say, but I am somewhat stunned by the negativity inherent in this action and behavior, and really can't say I would continue to share CMG under these circumstances.

I deeply appreciate and value this website and the content it has to offer, but this really sucks, Powers That Be. Why reflect the cynical, dismissive energy of our world in this way, rather than at least attempt to behoove, foster and cultivate a more rich dialogue-- one of profound understanding?

HUMAN IS THE ONLY ART FORM

Here we Are-- BEING. Human BEING. Your censorship IS the black mirror. Please consider asking yourself how it is not simply just a tangible manifestation of the hurt that lives deep with-inside of You?

I find censorship is ugly, telling and dismissive. In the past I have shared this website with so many like-hearted individuals, and to what end? To share, because there is content here that I value. I do not want that to come to an end, but I certainly do feel just as unwanted as I know you must want me to feel. Guess what? I've spent the past decade feeling like shit, and YEAH my childhood really WAS super fucked up. Would you like me to apologize for not having been appropriately well-adjusted and having to come to terms with that? For not fitting in? For being different, intrinsic and sticking out and feeling wrong and dirty for it?

If whomever over there that is reading this is actually as afraid of my ideas as this behavior of censorship so exhibits, please consider meditating on just why exactly it is these ideas that frustrate you so-- so much to silence them. When in history has THAT ever been the most positive answer and energy to present to the world?

Thanks for letting me vent! Have you ever been censored? What did you do in response? How did it make you feel?
