Hoarders

After a good, long run, we have decided to close our forums in an effort to refocus attention to other sections of the site. Fortunately for you all, we're living in a time where discussion of a favorite topic now has a lot of homes. So we encourage you all to bring your ravenous love for discussion to Chuck's official Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram. And, as always, you can still post comments on all News updates. Thank you for your loyalty and passion over the years. These changes will happen June 1.

So, I'm sure many of you have seen the "new" show HOARDERS (A&E) by now. Should you have missed it, TIVO is a must, at least once and I highly encourage you to eat prior to watching. A full stomach is always better than dry heaves.

Anyhow, I digress.

I work as a firefighter in the lovely state of Florida. I have on more accounts than one should, been in these environments. The worst of which belonged to a 700lb woman whom suffered from depression. Apparently. Because when we went in for a welfare check, we found her dead...probably a good 3 weeks, face blown off, with a face...err...stump filled with maggots and cockroaches.

Her home was FILLED with insects beyond belief and we literally were up to our knees and waists in human excrement and garbage...well, her treasure.

So, do any of you have or know anyone with these issues?
Regardless, what is the most vile situation you have had the honor to witness?
