Hello, hello.

After a good, long run, we have decided to close our forums in an effort to refocus attention to other sections of the site. Fortunately for you all, we're living in a time where discussion of a favorite topic now has a lot of homes. So we encourage you all to bring your ravenous love for discussion to Chuck's official Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram. And, as always, you can still post comments on all News updates. Thank you for your loyalty and passion over the years. These changes will happen June 1.

Hello all :]

I'm new here, if the subject didn't give that away. I see other newbies telling a bit about themselves in posts like these, so allow me to do the same. I didn't lurk for long before I decided to join, so excuse any poor manners you might encounter on my part. I've been reading Chuck's book for the past year or so, starting with Fight Club. A friend of mine recomended the book, said she really loved it, and that I would too. I took her word on that, fortunately, and have read the book countless times since my discovery of it. Then I read Choke, then Haunted, and am now working on Diary. Chuck's writing has influenced me greatly. Especially after reading Choke, I found myself thinking in the way that Victor thought/Chuck wrote (For sure, Liam Gallagher never had to learn German). It was strange, but enlightening.

I am also an aspiring author, English teacher, and psychologist, among other things. I'm still legally a kid, however, and these dreams have yet to come to pass.

You all seem like a cool bunch of people. I can't wait to be an avid contributer on the forums :]
