Hellbent Writer's Society

After a good, long run, we have decided to close our forums in an effort to refocus attention to other sections of the site. Fortunately for you all, we're living in a time where discussion of a favorite topic now has a lot of homes. So we encourage you all to bring your ravenous love for discussion to Chuck's official Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram. And, as always, you can still post comments on all News updates. Thank you for your loyalty and passion over the years. These changes will happen June 1.

My name is Brodie. I bite off more than I can chew. It's not that I'd like to choke it's more about me being stupid.

Screw this real life shit is what it feels like when you cant get off of your lame-o factory job for 3 days. There is no Saint Packtrick's Day for me. Or a spring break. Sobriety is a bitch. My time away from school gave me was converted to time spent writing. One week in the empty college town makes you want to go to the hospital for burning your hand on the stove burner so you could interact with people again. Writing in my one bedroom apartment emphasized how lonely I was. During this week I had finished Choke and visited The Cult which was promoted inside. I got twitchy to write and being alone was killing me. So I formed the Hellbent Writer's Society on a forum for people in the communtiy to organze meetings to read and critque literature as well as participate in writing exercises and to practice their craft with other like minded people. I suggested physical meetings and even offered my apartment for a meeting place. I was terrified when I found out people were starting to join H.W.S. and were willing to have meetings that would inspire them to take their writing off of the back burners.

It was at this point I realized I am full of shit. I have no ideas for workshops, what to read, and how we should begin writing the things we want individually so we can craft our own styles? I don't know what to teach or how  run this show. If you have any suggestions please leave them. I need them. Thankyou in advance,

Brodie Moyer.
