do you remember? want the cure?

After a good, long run, we have decided to close our forums in an effort to refocus attention to other sections of the site. Fortunately for you all, we're living in a time where discussion of a favorite topic now has a lot of homes. So we encourage you all to bring your ravenous love for discussion to Chuck's official Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram. And, as always, you can still post comments on all News updates. Thank you for your loyalty and passion over the years. These changes will happen June 1.

i am brand spanking new, and hope that its acceptable that i dislike capital letters.

reading today, i saw an article claiming that a process completely identical to the one performed in 'eternal sunshine on the spotless mind' has been successfully performed on rats. that is to say that scientists believe they can now remove specific memories from a brain without affectively damaging the remainder of it's function or memory capacity.

the removal of hard-core traumatic memory could be a viable choice for let's say, abuse survivors. what would become of all the supporting personality that had to develop as a coping mechanism for that abuse? now you're free! commence to having absolutely no idea why the rest of your life feels empty and uncharted! (?)

makes for a good start in a whole new era of inexplicable sociopaths just ripe for observation and depiction i suppose.
