Different covers?

After a good, long run, we have decided to close our forums in an effort to refocus attention to other sections of the site. Fortunately for you all, we're living in a time where discussion of a favorite topic now has a lot of homes. So we encourage you all to bring your ravenous love for discussion to Chuck's official Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram. And, as always, you can still post comments on all News updates. Thank you for your loyalty and passion over the years. These changes will happen June 1.

Maybe this is a stupid question. But what is the difference between the two covers of I.M? I owned the I.M. book with the picture of the girl in a skirt, just the bottom half of her face, all colorful and funky looking (the one I see most often in bookstores). Then Chuck sent me a copy of the I.M. book with the white cover of the beauty queen/ old woman with the pink splatter on it. What is the difference? I looked at the copyright details of the latter and it says "first edition". Then again, all of my books say "first edition" and I know there isn't anything special about my Lullaby copy. Does anyone know the difference?
