September - Tell me what you've been reading

No one's read anything for three days? Don't believe it.

I've been on a muli-book reading binge since I remembered a couple weeks ago how school does that thing where it sucks all my reading-for-fun-time into a black hole that is whatever math and science class I've foolishly sworn and paid for the privilege to undertake.

I've a chapter left of Boomerang: Travels in the New Third World by Michael Lewis... as far as non-fiction books about the financial crisis go... this one is highly entertaining.

Also nearly finished with What We Talk About When We Talk About Anne Frank by Nathan Englander... which is my new favorite short story collection.

China in Ten Words by Yu Hua was an impulse buy that I've just started. So far so good. I don't know anything about China but this seemed like a good place to start.

Taking a break from Game of Thrones until I finish at least two of these other books... I somehow found myself going through the first season of the show in about a week so I expect I'll enjoy this.

How to Piss in Public by Galvin McInnes is thus far hilarious and informative and hilarious and probably the reason I'm reading so many books at the same time... I'm trying to pace myself with this one because I don't want to go back to the way life was when I didn't have another chapter of this book to look forward to.

When I'm done with these, I'll probably dive into the A+ Guide to the Principles of Macro Biology and Troubleshooting.
