If anyone can ask him about his fabled writer's retreat that would be great. He bought an old summer camp way outside Portland a few years back with the intent to turn it into a writer's retreat.

Also, I've been dying to know how many short stories does he have that are unpublished? And their titles? He reads a lot of them on book tours. But "Romance" was recently published by Playboy.

Let me know if anyone finds this stuff out...

I attended his reading in Austin and he mentioned the retreat, but sounds like he and his partner are living there. No mention of a writer's retreat.

He read "Romance" in Austin, so I can only assume he's doing so in other cities.
