'Pygmy' Tour Tshirts Are Here!

New Tshirts are available for the upcoming 'Pygmy' tour!  You may remember that we did this last year and the year before, for 'Snuff' and 'Rant' (respectively).  We initially held off on making these, due to the fact that Chuck is only doing five stops on this tour.  But then three more stops got added to Canada and we suddenly had 8 cities that we could list on the back of the shirt.

First Details For Chuck Palahniuk's 2010 Novel, "Tell All"

In a recent audio interview Chuck did with KPBS, while on the road promoting his latest novel "Pygmy", Chuck openly talked about his next novel.  In fact, Chuck revealed that, while caring for his mother last year, he actually wrote three novels!  The one which is going to drop in 2010 is called "Tell All" and if you thought Chuck couldn't get anymore original and daring... think again.

Lillian Hellman, to be the central character in Chuck Palahniuk's 2010 novel 'Tell All'.

The plot:  The novel will feature Lillian Hellman, a real life playright.  She is best known as Dashielle Hammet's lover and the writer of the controversial film "The Children's Hour" which featured Audrey Hepburn and Shirley McClain as lesbians.   According to the interview, Chuck wants to reinvent her as a "larger than life Super Hero" and talk about her incredible life and exploits, as she wrote about them in her memoir "An Unfinished Woman".

You can listen to the full, 16 min audio interview with Chuck, where he discusses "Tell All" by clicking here.  (Chuck begins talking about the novel around the 15:19 mark) read more »

Limited Edition Tour Poster For 'Pygmy' Now Available!

'Pygmy' limited edition tour poster by David Dwitt.Last year, Doubleday commissioned a very talented artist by the name of David Dwitt to design a tour poster for 'Snuff'.  I was actually not aware of this, but those of you who were at some of the events might have seen it.  So I'm happy to report that David has returned this year with a beautiful poster for 'Pygmy'.

David only has 200 of these posters available!  So I urge you all to gobble it up before the tour starts by visiting the below link.  Poster is only $20!  If you're attending any of the stops and have it by then, you can have Chuck sign it in person!

David also have some posters left from the 'Snuff' tour stop in MPLS at the Triple Rock here:

This is the only tour merchandise that David has available this year, so hurry before they all go!  I personally can't wait to frame this thing and hang it in my office.

'Fight Club' Referenced In Two Major TV Shows Last Night

'Fight Club' referenced on CSI and Criminal Minds

This is becoming more and more a part of our pop culture.  So I tend to not always report about it.  But then again, every now and then, it's just fun to mention:

I was watching CBS tonight and there were Fight Club references in both CSI and Criminal Minds. In CSI a joke was made referencing the first rule of Fight Club. Three girls are in a diet club and a joke is made saying "the first rule of diet club is you don't talk about diet club". I thought this was pretty funny. In Criminal Minds there was a fight club that the killer belonged to. The FBI goes to this fight club while a fight is going on and breaks it up and interviews one member. This member goes on to say that at Fight Club there are no names only nick names.  I thought it was really cool that 2 separates shows both had Fight Club references in them on the same night of television..Feel free to pass this info on

Props to  Andy Ponti for the scoop. read more »

Suicide Girls 'Fight Club' Photo Tribute

Suicide Girls photo tribute to 'Fight Club'

This may be old news for some of you, but SuicideGirls.com has recently posted a photo tribute to Fight Club.  I think this has something to do with the site's anniversary or something.  Be careful though.  The following link is NSFW.  You'll see lots of sweaty, tattooed breasts.  So many in fact, that I even had a hard time finding an image I could crop (above) for this news post.

Now, onto the photo tribute... and the... ahem... breasts:
